Floor Plates
When installing optical turnstiles, cabling must be run from one bollard to the other for the electrical and communication connections. This is normally accomplished by using a conduit that is run under the floor. In existing construction where core drilling the floor is undesirable or in construction where the flooring materials are very expensive, DSI recommends the use of our optical turnstile floor plates.
DSI floor plates are made of welded 11 gauge C. R. steel, have a cable tray built into the plate, and are painted with an abrasion-resistant coating. They are ideal for temporary installations or installations where core drilling and conduit are not an option.
